Writing Space

Though the concept of hypertext is widespread on the web, and most websites are addressed with the prefix "http" standing for "hypertext transport protocol", most of these sites are simply static sources of information with little to no opportunity for users to contribute their own writing. Miranda is different because student readers help to continue its evolution by submitting their own writing as inspired by their reading and research with this hypertext. Quality submissions are then edited and posted here in their entirety as well as excerpted and linked throughout the novel where appropriate.

This space also contains the Composer's Journal, an ongoing record of Miranda's evolution and continued development.

SUBMISSIONS - essays inspired by Miranda from students and other readers

USER FEEDBACK - brief, informal responses to Miranda and using hypertext for learning

COMPOSER'S JOURNAL - ongoing journal of the evolution of Miranda and her composers
